A New Journey for the Globalization of Korean Cuisine The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA), in partnership with CJ Foods(Bibigo), is excitied to host an exclusive K-Food workshop. This is more than just a class, it's an immersive journey into the heart of Korean flavors through hands-on activities, expert chef tips, and the stories behind the food. Inspired by the hit K-Drama " Bon Appétit, Your Majesty (폭군의 셰프)", the session invites guests to discover the artistry and soul of Korean cuisine. From live chef demos to communal tastings, we're bringing K-culture to life in a fun and meaningful way. A Delicious Journey led by world-renowned culinary experts, including former Michelin-starred chefs, this program offers authentic, high-quality instruction. The featured menu includes Galbijjim (Korean braised beef short ribs in savory soy-based sauce), as well as Bibimbap (Korean mixed rice with vegetables and gochujang) and Doenjang-guk (Korean soybean paste soup). Celebrate Kimchi Day with KCCLA
Celebrate Kimchi Day with KCCLA! The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA) invites you to a special Hands-on Kimchi-Making Workshop to celebrate Kimchi Day (11.22). Led by Chef Yoon Hee Kim, this workshop will guide participants through the process of making authentic Korean Kimchi while learning about the history and cultural significance of Kimjang-Korea’s tradition of making and sharing kimchi together. Lee Bo-bae, Chef & Culinary Expert A master in Korean fermentation and jang traditions, Lee brings insight into sauces, historical flavor profiles, and hands-on teaching of deep food culture. * This program is presented by the Korean Cultural Center LA and is supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and the KOFICE (Korean Foundation for International Cultural Exchange) as part of the "Touring K-Arts" project.
