The World Congress is a forum where teachers from UN countries that participated in the Korean War gather to discuss educational approaches using the Korean War educational resource book and to exchange ideas on history and peace education.

• ●Teachers from the United States and the Republic of Korea

• ●Descendants of Korean War veterans and United Nations veterans from Korea

Program Schedule

August 5 (Afternoon)

• ●Participation in the International Veterans Conference

• ○The Mayflower Hotel, Washington, D.C.

August 6

• ●Morning: Wreath-laying ceremony and tribute at the Wall of Remembrance, Korean War Veterans Memorial

• ●Afternoon: Workshop for participating teachers and students

• ○Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town

August 7 (All Day)

• ●Educational visits to historical sites in and around Washington, D.C.
